Serra da Canastra National Park, created in 1972, is the cradle of Saint Francis river, land of Canastra Cheese and home of several threatened species, such as canastra armadillo, giant anteater and the Brazilian merganser. In spite of that, it has been a conflict stage for over forty years: land conflicts, damages, preservation, mining...

The project

Here you will be able to access all planning and implementing phases of Canastra: Justice and Reconciliation Program, as well as the legal and theoretical references used to build it.
